In this course, you will learn about Architectural Expansion Joint Systems and the way they allow buildings to move without causing damage or becoming unsafe to occupants.
Topics covered are as follows:
Define and explain the function and purpose of expansion joints
Identify the various types of systems for floor, wall/ceiling and exterior applications
Determine expansion joint requirements for project conditions
Discuss fire rating applications for expansion joints
